Roxy's Coffee & Tea House, Argyll Square Oban

Warm and friendly cafe in the middle of Oban in Argyll Square. Serves good coffee and has a good menu ranging from cooked breakfasts to soup and paninis. Child and family friendly and open all year. Nice fishcakes usually available. Deceptively large with extra seating at back.

Little Bay Cafe and Takeway, Stafford Street Oban

Takeaway and small cafe situated on seafront in Oban serving everything to salads to baked potatoes, with excellent soup. Very good coffee with afternoon cream teas worth a mention. Good view onto busy Oban bay with added attraction of free WiFi.

Carolyns Cafe, John Street, Oban

Near the start of Oban with home baking a speciality this is a nice owner run cafe. Good baguettes at lunchtime and thier soup is very tasty. Breakfast also available all day and thier coffee will keep you going all day.

Dolce Vita Cafe, George Street, Oban

Large Green Building opposite Oban bay so has great views. Name gives it away that it serves lots of Italian food with Ice cream being on of its specialities. Does excellent coffee and snacks and meals all day and lots of seats. One of the few cafes in Oban to open nice and late and you can sit and blether till 10pm if you want to. Great atmosphere with cake and coffee being our favourite.

Cruachan Croft Bakery and Cafe, Taynuilt

No additives or preservatives in thier baking is what this little place is known for and you really can taste the difference. Lots of soups and wholesome snacks also available with everything hand made using family recipes. Their cakes are pretty good too but check they are open first since they only open on certain days.

Crafts and Things, Glencoe

On main road opposite Glencoe Village this cafe is a local's favourite and well worth a visit. As well as excellent coffee and various snacks such as rolls and home made soups served all day, this quaint coffee shop has a very good craft shop attached to it. Lots of quality crafts and pictures are for sale with most browsers usually unable to resist the urge to buy something. Open daily a few of the local tradesmen meet here each mid morning to discuss remedies for the world's problems.  Home baking worthy of mention which is very good with a mid afternoon Latte.

Poppies Garden Centre, Dunbeg, Oban

Just on the outskirts of Oban this clever coffee stop combines a very good garden centre and busy cafe both family run. Speciality coffees and lots of home baking combined with some great seaviews out to Lismore makes it a great stop after a visit to Oban. The seafood salad is worth a try as is many of their delicious cakes. As well as garden products they sell lots of interesting bits and pieces as well as produce such as jams and coffee beans.

Dalrannoch Tearoom, Benderloch

Roadside cafe located near the Scottish Sealife Centre which serves all day food and snacks. Good all day breakfast and lots of home baking. Interesting pottery next door which makes and sells quality products so well worth a stop. Takeway service is also available and some nice views out to Loch Linnhe. Open most of the year.
